Sen. John Fetterman Takes to Social Media for Update Since Maryland Crash News Editor, June 10, 2024June 14, 2024 By DONNA BALANCIA Sen. John Fetterman, D-PA, took to social media on Monday to give an update on his condition, following a car accident in Maryland in which he and his wife, Giselle, were involved. The crash happened in the westbound direction of Interstate 70 at the interchange with I-68 near Hancock on Sunday morning. Fetterman, driving a Chevrolet Traverse, rear-ended a Chevrolet Impala on I-70, according to police reports. He and his wife were hospitalized for minor injuries and were released. A passenger from the Impala, who was not named, and the Fettermans were taken to War Memorial Hospital in West Virginia, according to police. The crash is being investigated, no citations were given.
